Directors
The Regional Board comprises fourteen directors. As the executive and governing body for the corporation, the Regional Board is responsible for establishing the corporate vision, for approving corporate policy, and for enacting all legislation (bylaws).
Directors typically serve for 3 year terms and are either elected directly by their constituents (in the case of electoral areas) or appointed by municipal councils from among their members. The current Board of Directors is shown in the table below:
