- The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George contracts with Metro Materials Recovery Inc. to provide multi-material recycling services throughout the District. The recycling service is operated on a "markets first" basis to ensure that materials collected through the program are recycled. Recyclables are shipped regularly to end users and brokers.

- The Nechako Bottle Accepts:
- interior and exterior latex, alkyd, enamel or oil-based paints
- porch, floor and deck paints
- interior & exterior varnishes and urethanes
- primers, undercoats, sealers and block fillers
- marine enamel and bottom paint
- wood finishing oils, stains and shellac
- acrylic driveway sealers
- rust paint, decorative metal paints
- fence, barn and swimming pool paints
- aerosol (spray) paints of all kinds
- solvents and flammable liquids including paint thinners, cleaning products, camp fuels or adhesives with a "flammable" symbol on the package
- other solvents with "flammable" symbol or fire hazard warnings on the label
- consumer pesticides with a "poisonous" hazard symbol and "PCP" or "Pest Control Product" registration number on the label
- gasoline in approved ULC containers only
- The Nechako Bottle Depot Cannot Accept:
- unlabelled, unidentifiable or improperly packaged products
- commercial or industrial solvents or pesticides
- non-aerosol automotive, industrial or multi-component paint
- empty solvent, pesticide or gasoline containers
- pesticide or solvent containers larger than 10 litres
- cosmetics, health and beauty aids
- insect repellants, disinfectants and pet products
- fibreglass resins packaged for commercial use
- coal tar epoxies, bituminous coatings
- diesel, propane, butane fuels
- diluted, ready-to-use pesticides or solvents without "poisonous" or "flammable" symbols or warnings
