Demolition, Landclearing & Construction Waste (DLC)
Large demolition loads fees apply and only permitted at select sites.
Residents may drop off small loads* of refuse and DLC without charge. This is the first step toward a user pay system where generators of waste are charged according to the amount they produce
*A small load is defined as: solid waste that arrives at the disposal site in:
- a vehicle having a maximum G.V.W. (gross vehicle weight) rating of 3,400 kg, or;
- a vehicle having a maximum G.V.W. rating of 3,400 kg towing a trailer, where the weight of the load on the vehicle and trailer combination is 500 kg or less.
