Village of McBride
The Village of McBride has a population of 586 and is represented on the Regional District Board by Allan Federick. The Village occupies 4.43 square kilometres. Region-wide services provided include solid waste management, 9-1-1 emergency response, fire services coordination, regional parks, land use planning, building inspection and heritage conservation.
Other services include Libraries, McBride & District Fire Protection, TV Rebroadcasting, and the Robson Valley Recreation Centre.
The Robson Valley Recreation Centre in McBride offers recreational activities year round. Opportunities include a hockey arena, two sheets of curling ice, a lounge and a fitness facility.
The Robson Valley Community Centre has seating for 360, a stage, dance floor, kitchen and A/V system. The Centre has all the amenities necessary for hosting events, business meetings, conferences, training, performances and tradeshows.
McBride is home to Koeneman Regional Park, located on the east side of the Fraser River.
