Hixon Falls

Hixon Falls are located behind Hixon 4 kilometres off Highway 97. Turn east on Hixon Creek Rd. along a gravel road until you reach a parking area. From there, follow a narrow path by foot to the falls.

Hixon was named for Hixon Creek, which in turn is named for a 19th Century prospector in the area, Joseph Foster Hixon, who found gold on the banks of the Fraser River in 1866.
