Dore River Armouring Management and Maintenance Service

The feasibility of a Dore River Armouring Management and Maintenance Taxable Service is being investigated. It will support the ongoing management and maintenance of the riverbank armouring works proposed for five areas on a 1.5 kilometre length of the Dore River, between Highway 16 and Museum Road just outside of McBride.

The Regional District Board of Directors has given approval to obtain participating area consent for establishing the service through a petition. Petitions were mailed to proposed service area property owners in the week of June 20th.
